Ohio-based artist Dani Leventhal has produced a number of films since 2003, in addition to her work in other media. Her body of work has been regarded by Genevieve Yue as “…some of the most insistently vital work made in the past decade.” Leventhal’s 2013 short Platonic is no exception to such an accolade, bringing together disparate spaces, people, instances, and ideas into an elliptically edited stream of perceptive consciousness.
