We are hosting coverage of TIFF ’12 out of a beautiful and very accommodating gallery space (Onsite [at] OCAD U) around the corner from the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. Our unofficial coverage is modelled after our monthly video magazine, featuring in-depth, long-form interviews with international auteurs whose work spans a variety of genres and styles. This is the opposite of the traditional junket interviews, so standard at festivals, and we are excited to offer excerpts from these conversations during the festival. The full-length interviews will be included in issues of our video magazine in the months that follow.
You can watch our first clip: an excerpt from our 45-minute interview with Tabu director, Miguel Gomes, on our TIFF page.
