João Pedro Rodrigues Interview (The King’s Body)

The King's Body

João Pedro Rodrigues is a Portuguese filmmaker who regularly collaborates with João Rui Guerra da Mata. Their films include the theme of transformation within a number of circumstances, including national identity.

João was at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival to present his latest short work, The King’s Body, in the Wavelengths program. It was our great pleasure to meet again and talk about his latest shorts and what’s he’s working on next.

This interview is from our extensive 2013 Toronto International Film Festival coverage and the full length interview was released in November 2013.
